Affiliate Disclosure

There are no advertisements on Be Our Gaston. Not one. No banner ads, no pop-ups, no sponsored content, no brand partnerships, no tourism board money. This site exists because I love Savannah and I want people to experience it well — not because I'm trying to monetize your attention.

So what are affiliate links?

A small number of links on this site — primarily for tours and bookable experiences — are affiliate links. That means if you click one and make a purchase, Be Our Gaston may earn a small (super-duper small, peeps!) commission at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the provider.

This is the only way this site generates any income at all. And even then, it barely does. This site is my affection for this city and for my desire for you to love it as much as I do.

Where affiliate links appear

Affiliate links may appear on the following pages:

Savannah Itineraries and Historic Homes — links to guided tours and trolley experiences (via Viator and similar platforms)

Things to Do in Savannah — links to tours, kayak rentals, Tybee experiences, and other bookable activities

Where to Stay — links to hotel and rental booking platforms

We always disclose affiliate relationships inline on the relevant pages as well.

What never changes

Affiliate relationships have zero influence over what appears on this site. Every recommendation reflects personal experience — places I've been, things I've done, spots I'd send my own friends to without hesitation.

I didn't build Be Our Gaston to make money. I built it because travelers deserve honest local guidance, and most travel sites aren't giving it to them. The affiliate links are a footnote, not a business model.
